Getting Started¶

What will you need to get started?

The Replicape can be ordered from ThingPrinter or Seeed Studio.

A BegleBone Black or BeagleBone Black Wireless from many different internet retailers:

• Adafruit
• Seeed Studio
• Mouser
• Newark14
• among others.

A 12V to 24V power supply

• Minimum of 10 Amps.
• Maximum is 20 Amps (current on the board is limited by the fuse)

A microSD card (minimum 4GB)

A 3D printer or CNC mill or lathe

Optional: Keyboard, monitor, microHDMI adapter for troubleshooting

How do I get started?

1. Connect your 3D printer to the replicape.
2. Install software on the BeagleBone Black.
3. Connect to the device and adjust the configuration for your 3D printer.
